We had a great big, happy, family-filled weekend. We had a wonderful time at Matthew's 4th birthday party on Saturday (no pictures...wow, we are lame-o). Yesterday the girls were baptized at our 11:00 service, with lots of family and friends in attendance. They looked adorable in their traditional Chinese dresses and behaved beautifully! They didn't mind being handed to our pastor, or the water on their heads. We had a lovely time after at the brunch and got to spend time with everyone, and enjoy some delicious food. We got a few pictures, some a bit blurry, but you get the idea - it's tough taking pictures when you're hands are full! When we had their photos done last week, we did some with their christening outfits, so those should be better. We even had enough energy to go back last night for the evening service and the girls went to the nursery so Jonathan and I could relax and enjoy the service, without two wriggling, giggling, babbling, bubble-blowing babies on our laps. It was wonderful and I have missed being there. Thanks to everyone who came and made their baptism day so special, and those who helped with food, set-up and clean-up. We are so grateful for all of you!
