Doll times two

Two years ago, I was lucky enough to get one of the hand-crafted dolls by joybucket, long before we received our referral, or had any inkling we would get twins.  When we found out there was a LilyKate and an Eleanor, I emailed Susan and asked about the possibility of getting another and she graciously agreed to make one for me. The second doll arrived a few days ago and she is just adorable.  I am so happy that our daughters will have a doll that is as special and unique as they are, and I even think they look a little bit like each of them! Thank you Susan for the love and care you put into each doll.  I know the girls will treasure them always.

  4. I have been following your blog for awhile now. Your little girls are just too cute as well as the dolls. But, everytime I come to your blog, I can't decide, are they identical? One time I see a difference, the other time I don't. Would you please be so kind as to put my mind to rest :)

We believe the girls are identical, but haven't had the DNA testing done to find out for sure. Most people can't tell them apart, but I have been able to since a few days after we met them. People ask us all the time how we tell them apart and I never have a clear answer. Eleanor's face is a little rounder and LilyKate has a dimple when she smiles really big, but mostly it's just that we know their personalities and they are clearly different.

  7. Thanks for posting photos! All the girls look great. I can see how little your girls are by using the dolls for scale.

Thanks again. I had fun making them.

Hi Susan - I LOVE your blog - your girls are getting to be little ladies - isn't it amazing how fast they are growing - they are so darling! Hope you and yours are doing well - still have family in town - kinda nutty but good. Say hi to Jonathan and the girls for us!
